The Southeast Asia Workshop on Aerospace Engineering (SAWAE) was founded in 2016 and first hosted by National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. It is organized in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Southeast Asia Network in Aerospace Engineering (SANAE) and is hosted in turns by SANAE’s constitutional members. Since then, subsequent SAWAE events were hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, Kasetsart University, Thailand (2018), Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2019), National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan (2021). For this 6th workshop, it is hosted on October 20th – 21st 2022 by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, which also marks the second time it is held in Vietnam.
The primary aim of SAWAE is to provide an effective regional platform to discuss and exchange recent developments, new ideas, and experiences in the field of aerospace engineering between academia, government agencies, and industries in the region. It is hoped that this event will help and facilitate close dialogues, networking, and collaborations among experts on issues related to research and technological development in aerospace engineering, as well as in human resource development and education. This is directly aligned with the selected theme for this edition, which is “Aerospace Research and Development: Challenges and Opportunities”. The organizing committee of SAWAE 2022 cordially invites all students, academicians and also researchers in government agencies and industries to submit your paper to the workshop.
